Services for game studiosGames we've modded

For software projects

No game involved. For small businesses and teams without a spare developer: tools that save your team time, and help with the problems nobody else has solved.

Software we've built

The tools we run our own business on. The games are just the context: the same work fits any team that ships software.

  • Release automation · Python

One command from source to a verified release

A command-line tool that lints, tests, builds and packages each release, uploads it through REST APIs and reads the result back to confirm it. Nothing ships without an explicit approval step, so mistakes are caught before customers see them.

  • Testing · Python and Lua

Tests that run without the real app

An offline harness that imitates the host application, so every scenario runs in seconds. A test runner turns each manual test session into a one-page report from the logs. A new test only counts once it has failed on the broken version.

  • Data and reporting · Python

A weekly dashboard from data we already had

Daily snapshots from public APIs and CSV files, cleaned and turned into one self-contained HTML page with charts. Every number is traced to its source, gaps are shown as gaps, and projections are labelled as projections.

  • Debugging · root-cause analysis

Random crashes traced to one cause

A pile of crash reports with different signatures, read with debug symbols, led to a single threading bug in a third-party framework. A new coding rule removed the cause, and no new crash reports came in after the rebuild.

  • Shared library · C# and .NET

    One library, several targets

Shared C# helpers that build from one source for .NET Standard 2.0, 2.1 and .NET 6, with their own automated test suite. A fix made once reaches every project that uses it, and new projects start from tested code.

  • Web tooling · Python

    This website's own build checks

Scripts that make the responsive images, check every link, anchor and alt text, scan for private data, and write a deploy-ready copy with sitemap and redirects. The site is plain, fast HTML and checked before every upload.

Games we've modded

Well-known games like Palworld, Grounded and Vampire Survivors, and games the big modding scenes tend to pass by, like BALL x PIT and High on Life. All worked out from the released game, without source code, and all free for players.

  • Palworld
  • Unreal Engine 5 · UE4SS Lua

Invincible Pals

The Pals in your party and at your own bases can't be hurt, with an optional god mode for you. Wild Pals, other guilds and other players are never affected, and nothing is written to the save, so removing the mod removes it completely.

Why it holds upIt uses Palworld's own invincibility switch under its own name, so turning the mod off never removes protection the game gave for its own reasons. The mod reads the game's answer back to confirm each Pal is really protected.

Off the Clock card for All Trinkets at Once
  • Grounded
  • Unreal Engine 4 · UE4SS Lua

All Trinkets at Once

Grounded only uses the trinket you wear. This mod makes every trinket in your backpack count, so the bag becomes your loadout: carry a trinket and its effect is on, drop or store it and the effect goes away. Effects go through the game's own effect system and show under Equipment like a worn trinket.

Why it holds upRandom trinkets keep their rolled stats in a different table from the one the game's effect function reads. The mod points the game at the right table for that one call, puts it straight back, and switches the feature off if it ever can't. A load crash in an early build was caught in testing and fixed before release.

Off the Clock card for Free Craft and Free Build
  • Grounded
  • Unreal Engine 4 · UE4SS Lua

Free Craft and Free Build

Grounded's Creative mode lets you craft and build for free, but an existing Survival world can't be switched to it. These two mods turn on exactly those rules on a Survival save: crafting needs no ingredients and buildings finish the moment you place them. Everything else stays Survival.

Why it holds upTwo early builds each fixed half of the problem. Tracing the shipped game's code showed why: the crafting menu never reads the rule, and a loaded world keeps its own copy of the settings. The released version handles both.

  • BALL x PIT
  • Unity 6 IL2CPP · BepInEx 6, C#

Unlock All Characters and Blueprints

One key press in your base opens every character, level, build-menu building, encyclopedia entry and endless mode. The mod backs up the save before the first unlock and works through the developers' own unlock routines, so the game stays consistent with itself.

Why it holds upTesting found 19 buildings still locked, trophies and character houses that only drop from bosses; they were traced in the game code and added before release. Future content and paid DLC stay locked, unreleased buildings stay hidden, and the game's own "cheated run" flag is never touched.

  • High on Life
  • Unreal Engine 4.27 · UE4SS Lua

Perfect Aim: No Recoil and No Spread

Every shot lands on the crosshair. One key switches it off and on, and switching off puts each gun's own values back. A fun side effect: Gus, the shotgun, turns into a slug gun, with every pellet hitting the same spot.

Why it holds upThe game ships its debug symbols, so the aiming code could be read directly instead of guessed. The mod changes only the per-gun spread and recoil values, and only on your guns; enemy aim uses a different stat and is left alone.

Working with us

A contract for a clear project, a fixed price, and the person doing the work answers your email.

  1. A free first step: book a free 30-minute call (or send an email) about what you need. You get an honest answer, including when you don't need us.
  2. A one-page scope: what's in, what's out, the dates and the price. Quoted per project, at competitive prices, and fixed before we start.
  3. Start small if you like: a short first project shows how we work before anything bigger. For game studios that is often the Mod-Friendly Check.
  4. The work: tested before you see it, with short progress notes. You own everything we write for you, and NDAs are fine.
  5. Delivery: code, docs and notes, and a short check-in a month later.
